Marie Minor is a dedicated individual with a strong commitment to serving her community. As the Owner and Founder of Cater 2 You Youth Haven, Marie brings her extensive experience and unwavering passion for helping those in need.

During her tenure as a therapeutic foster parent for over a decade, Marie opened her home to teen girls and LGBTQ youth, offering them a safe and nurturing environment. Marie has served as an on-call substitute teacher, providing support and guidance to students of various backgrounds. 

Beyond her involvement in education and foster care, Marie also has a proven track record as a successful entrepreneur. As the owner of Cater 2 You Events, she has demonstrated her ability to organize and manage events with utmost professionalism. Additionally, Marie played a crucial role in the management of JumpStart Learning Center, ensuring an enriching educational experience for young minds.

Driven by her deep-rooted passion, Marie is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human services with a major in Psychology. This academic endeavor reflects her dedication to enhancing her knowledge and skills to better serve her community.

With the launch of Cater 2 You Youth Haven, Marie is excited to expand her impact and extend a helping hand to a wider community of individuals in need. Through her shelter, she aspires to change lives one day at a time, providing a safe haven and essential support to vulnerable teenagers.

Masiyah German is a dedicated professional with a passion for criminal justice and community engagement. With a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, earned in 2022, Masiyah has acquired a strong foundation in the field.

Masiyah German is a dedicated professional with a passion for criminal justice and community engagement. With a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, earned in 2022, Masiyah has acquired a strong foundation in the field.

During her academic journey, Masiyah embarked on study abroad programs in Paris, France and Rome, Italy, enriching her cultural understanding and global perspective.

Masiyah's commitment to making a positive impact led her to valuable internships. Masiyah served at the 17th Philadelphia Police District, actively patrolling neighborhoods to deter crime. She also assisted the community relations events officer in planning and organizing community engagement events, including fundraisers and public awareness campaigns. Additionally, Masiyah shadowed officers on ride-alongs and administrative tasks, gaining invaluable insights into the duties and responsibilities of police officers.

Masiyah worked with the Defender Association of Philadelphia, conducting client advocacy interviews and managing the MacArthur Early Termination of Probation Initiative and the Early Probation Termination (EPT) Initiative. She demonstrated their legal acumen by drafting various legal documents and regularly communicating with facility staff and incarcerated individuals.

As a mentor in the Temple Education Scholar program in Philadelphia, Masiyah supported 16 high school students in their college preparation, setting learning goals and tracking their progress. She exhibited excellent communication and listening skills while nurturing positive relationships with the students and their families.

Masiyah's commitment to civic engagement extended to her involvement in the Mayor's Internship Program, where she contributed to community initiatives and projects.

In addition to Masiyah’s professional pursuits, Masiyah dedicated her time as a volunteer for the Penn Carey Law Outreach Program, supporting individuals in applying to and succeeding in law school. Masiyah also volunteered for Petey Greene tutoring incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals in English and Social Studies. Masiyah's goal was to promote educational aspirations and equip individuals with the necessary skills to advocate for themselves and avoid reincarceration.
